Areas of Focus
Our trauma-informed therapists help you move through what’s hard so you can live, love, and feel more like yourself again.

Anxiety Therapy
Racing thoughts, restlessness, and tension can leave you exhausted. We help you calm your nervous system, feel grounded, and reclaim peace.

Grief Therapy
Loss can leave you feeling empty, angry, or untethered. We provide space to honour your grief and gently move toward healing.

EMDR Therapy
Trauma memories can feel stuck in a loop. EMDR helps you process painful experiences so they lose their charge and stop defining you.

Trauma & PTSD Therapy
Flashbacks, hypervigilance, or emotional numbness may signal unresolved trauma. We use evidence-based trauma therapy to help you feel safe and whole again.

Relationship Distress Support
Whether you’re fighting often or feeling miles apart, we help you reconnect, communicate clearly, and build a stronger foundation.

Therapy for Therapists
Even helpers need help. We offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can take off the professional hat and just be you.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are your therapy fees, and do you accept insurance?
Fees start at $100 with our clinical interns and range up to $200+ with our most senior therapist. Most insurance plans cover Registered Psychotherapy; however, we do not bill directly to insurance. You’ll need to check with your provider to confirm coverage before starting therapy in Alliston or anywhere across Ontario. If you’re covered, you can submit your receipt for reimbursement, typically within a few business days.
What is your cancellation policy for therapy sessions?
We strive to provide exceptional care while respecting everyone’s time. Please give at least 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. You can contact your therapist directly, call us, or log into your Jane account. Late cancellations (less than 48 hours) may be charged the full session fee, though we’re open to reviewing individual cases.
How do I know if I need therapy or counselling?
We all experience challenges, and sometimes a safe space to process can make all the difference. Whether you’re dealing with something big or just feeling stuck, therapy in Alliston can help you gain tools, clarity, and support. We work with adults, teens, children, couples, and parents, and believe that everyone can benefit from therapy at some point in their lives.
How often will I need to attend therapy sessions?
Most clients begin with weekly or biweekly sessions to build momentum. As you make progress, we may space out sessions to biweekly, every three weeks, or monthly, based on your goals and what feels right for you.
How can I prepare for my first therapy appointment?
Come with a willingness to be real. We know it takes courage to begin therapy, especially when you’re seeking support for anxiety, grief, or starting EMDR trauma work. We’ll do our part to create a safe, welcoming space. Please complete your intake form ahead of time so we can make the most of your first session.
